Identity & Access
Management services
We assess where your identity estate actually stands, design the target state, and implement it — governance, authentication, authorisation and the controls that keep them auditable.
What we cover
Four pillars, assessed together — because a gap in one is usually explained by a decision made in another.
Identity Governance & Administration
Who exists, what they may hold, and proof that it is reviewed.
- Identity lifecycle management
- Role design and role lifecycle
- Automated provisioning and deprovisioning
- Segregation of duties
- Access certification and attestation
- Credential and certificate management
Access Management — Authentication
Proving the identity, proportionate to risk.
- Risk-based multi-factor authentication
- Passwordless and password policy
- Single sign-on policy enforcement
- Federation across internal and third-party applications
- Biometric and device-bound factors
Access Management — Authorisation
What a verified identity is allowed to do.
- Least-privilege enforcement
- RBAC, ABAC and policy-based models
- Privileged access management
- Zero-trust access modelling
- API and data-access governance
Monitoring & Compliance
Evidence, continuously — not scrambled together at audit time.
- Centralised identity audit logging
- SIEM integration
- Continuous monitoring of entitlements and activity
- Identity analytics and KPI reporting
- Audit and regulatory evidence packs
How we engage
Two tracks. Take the first on its own, or run straight through to delivery.
Advisory
Find out where the identity estate actually stands, and what to do about it.
- Current-state assessment across all four pillars
- Gap analysis against your risk and regulatory obligations
- Target-state architecture and policy model
- A sequenced, costed roadmap you can actually execute
Implementation
Build the target state, in increments that each leave working controls behind.
- Detailed design and build
- Integration with existing directories, HR and ITSM systems
- Migration and cutover
- Testing, evidence capture and documented hand-over
How an engagement runs
Discover
Inventory identities, entitlements and the controls already in place — then talk to the people who operate them day to day.
Define
Target-state architecture, policy model and a prioritised roadmap, sized against your real constraints rather than an ideal.
Deliver
Implement in sequenced increments. Each one leaves working controls, captured evidence and documentation behind.
Why work with us
Vendor-neutral by default
We hold no reseller agreement that needs feeding. Recommendations follow your estate, your constraints and your budget — including leaving in place what already works.
One team, assessment through build
The people who assess are the people who implement. Nothing is lost in a hand-off between a strategy deck and a delivery team who never attended the interviews.
Delivered from the UK and India
Both offices are our own. That gives genuine overlap with UK, European and Indian working hours without routing the work through a third party.
Scoped to end, not to linger
Engagements finish at documented hand-over to your team. We are not selling a dependency.
Questions
Is this related to the Hey Mello voice-agent product?
No. Identity and access management consulting is a separate practice within Mello AI Ltd, delivered by a different team. It does not require, include or depend on the Hey Mello voice platform in any way. You can engage us for IAM without ever touching the product.
Do you work with the IAM platform we already have?
Yes. We are deliberately vendor-neutral and work across the major identity governance, access management and privileged access platforms. Part of an assessment is establishing what your current tooling can already do before anyone proposes buying something new.
Can we start with an assessment and decide on implementation later?
Yes — the two tracks are separable and many engagements stop at the roadmap. The assessment is designed to be useful on its own: you own the findings and the roadmap whether or not we build any of it.
How long does an assessment take?
It depends on the size of the estate and how many applications are in scope. We will give you a firm timeline and a fixed scope before any work starts, not an open-ended engagement.
Which regions do you deliver in?
We deliver from offices in the United Kingdom and India, and work with clients across the UK, Europe and India. Remote delivery is the norm, with on-site work where an engagement genuinely needs it.
